 I was quite excited to try this program and buy it. However my trial was short-lived.It seemed to install OK and I got the blue square on the system tray. On clicking it, the cursor became crosshairs which I assumed are used to select the text on screen. No matter what I pressed, I was not able to proceed any further.Now the blue square has vanished and on rebooting Windows XP gives me the error \"Failed to create tray icon.\"The program does not run when selected from the Start menu, so I\'m stuck.Can you please ...
 I installed the latest and greatest (most s/w now auto-detects the OS of the pc and installs the suitable files for that system) after installing it i clicked the start>all programs > capture text > capture text... and got nothing.i am running xp sp 3 v 2002 dual core intel at 1.86 with 2 gb ram.
could you suggest any measures from we can start of making this type of software in vb.net
I tried to extract the text from a web site file that was in picture format but was unable to do so with Capture Text. I could copy what was on the screen, but the copied text was still in picture format. I then deleted Capture Text from my computer.Patrick CarrollE-mail: patrick2@telus.net

Actually I wanted to see if the ACA Capture Pro desktop capture worked in Vista with the photo viewer slide show. But unfortunatly it does not as the slide show mode of the photo viewer probably uses some kind of D3D overlays which the ACA Capture pro is not able to capture.

Looking for documentation - TCaptureX.dll Hi,
I am trying to use the COM component TCaptureX.dll, integrate it with my application. The product is good but the documentation is poor...how can 4 pages of PDF suffice?
The website also doesn't lead me to docs. I am about to give up my efforts & look for products with more documentation unless you help.
My company is planning to buy your product provided my POC is successful. Will you be able to help?

 WordCapture rev A little more info about what is neccessary (dll's) (for old fashioned CPP/MFC) and about Author/Stablity/Plans and it is perfect.
I just want to figure out functionality, maybe one day as 'nice addon' for our Intranet search and Databases
